Dr. Melissa C. Young, MD, is a functional medicine specialist certified through the Institute for Functional Medicine. She is currently a staff physician at the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Functional Medicine. Dr. Young received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in 1995 and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City in 1998. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and completed a two-year Residential Integrative Medicine Fellowship with the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, Tucson, studying with Andrew Weil, a pioneer in the field of Integrative Medicine.
